“So they took Joseph’s tunic, killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the tunic in the blood. Then they sent the tunic of many colors, and they brought it to their father and said, “We have found this. Do you know whether it is your son’s tunic or not?” And he recognized it and said, “It is my son’s tunic. A wild beast has devoured him. Without doubt, Joseph is torn to pieces.” Then Jacob tore his clothes, put sackcloth on his waist, and mourned for his son many days. And all his sons and all his daughters arose to comfort him; but he refused to be comforted, and he said, “For I shall go down into the grave to my son in mourning.” Thus his father wept for him.” Genesis 37:31-35 NKJV ———-

This is a powerful transition in the life of Israel back to Jacob. The manifestation of a Jacob or your old man is according to the lie you attach yourself to. The manifestation of Israel or new man in you is according to the truth you attach yourself to. You cannot allow a lie to derail your trajectory with God because the lie will bring back Jacob and Jacob cannot see the future, only Israel can. Jacob cannot move in power, only Israel can. Jacob became Israel when he detached himself from everything he had become attached to and got alone with God. For Israel to rise up in you, you need to get alone with God, one on one, and let Him deal with you. Let Him show you what your breaking points are and deal with them now so the devil can’t use them against you later. . . . #prophetChethanHenry #hisnearnesschicago #HearGod #Revivenationschurch #revival

Price of an encounter

“And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.” From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more. Then Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you also want to go away?””

John 6:65-67 NKJV

———-

If you want to encounter God in this generation, get ready to get rid of your old mold. Get ready to let go of what you have seen and heard in the past because God will always challenge you for the glorious next.  Don’t remain as an old wine skin - that is death.

In the spirit realm, the definition of becoming old is the inability to change, inability to adapt, inability to let go of your stubbornness.

If you will become pliable in the hands of your Maker, you will be what He has declared over you to be. The sign that you are ready for that kind of transformation is when The Lord God speaks, HIS Words will propel you out of your comfort and convenience zone and you are ready for Him beyond yourself, you will begin to discover more of this God, hunger will consume you for a life of surrender and encounters with Him.

Shalom!

Formation of the old man

-----------------------------

Ephesians 4:20-25 NKJV

But you have not so learned Christ, [21] if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: [22] that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, [23] and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, [24] and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. [25] Therefore, putting away lying, "Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor," for we are members of one another.

When the disciples asked the Lord about times and seasons of restoration. Jesus simply answered that the answer was the power to be received from the promise of the Father in their life. Today no matter what season and dead-ends you are facing. The power of God is the answer to change the seasons and timelines of your life. That power comes by seeking understanding of the God in you and His Righteousness for you by His Fire.

.

Acts 1:6-8 NKJV

Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, "Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?" [7] And He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. [8] But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
