HE IS RISEN!!!!  These words are the reason we are Christians.  Without the Resurrection of Jesus from the dead, our faith is empty, non-existent, even.  In this episode, Janet and Bridgett discuss those lines of the Nicene Creed that give us hope for eternal life!

Janet and Bridgett explore Jesus' death and His descent.  The Nicene Creed is less explicit than the Apostles' Creed in describing Jesus' descent.  The Apostles' Creed specifically says, "He descended into hell."  The Nicene Creed states, "For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate.  He suffered death and was buried."  So few words, but an eternal impact.

Baby Step:  Rest in the knowledge that NOTHING can separate you from the love of God!

What makes Jesus different than any other deity?  He is fully God and fully Man! In this episode, we explore the truth of Jesus being both the Son of God and the Son of Man.  Technical Note:  The recording may sound a little echoey.

It isn't surprising that we will be exploring the Nicene Creed's attention to Jesus the Son of God.  The Living Word of God.  Our Church did not always agree about who Jesus was, His two natures, and much more.  Join us we begin to break open who Jesus is.

Baby Step:  When it comes time for the Nicene Creed at Mass, listen a little closer, say it a little slower.  Reflect
