Asha Grigg was a normal 17 year old who's heart stopped when waking up from a routine appendix operation. She was soon afterwards diagnosed with heart failure and will need a transplant within the next 10 years. As if heart failure is not enough Asha also has a pineal cyst in her brain and a form of arthritis. She is currently 24 years old.

We discuss how Asha's diagnoses have shaped her life and how she defies the odds daily refusing to be defined by her health issues.
