Hello, today we’ll be talking about six things that protect women’s hearts from cardiovascular disease. I’ll be sharing with you why we’re losing and what will help.
Lets get started with today’s episode that is about Heart Healthy hacks on women’s heart and how they can protect themselves from cardiovascular disease by incorporating 6 important things into their lives. Once you have been diagnosed with high blood pressure or high cholesterol, or you have both, you can improve your odds with these things. Of course, you know that heart disease is the number one killer of women.
My girlfriend, at the time she was in her early 50s, one night woke up to extreme chest pains, she said it was like a bonfire burning within her chest, and could barely breathe. She was having a heart attack. Test revealed her left anterior descending artery; the heart’s largest artery was 99.9 percent blocked. She never smoked, her cholesterol levels were normal, her weight and blood pressure were off just a little according to the BMI chart and the American Heart Association, but women have different types of muscle makeup.
Included in our conversation today is how you can make some simple swaps to your meals that makes for a healthy heart.
First, I want you to know how friendships are excellent protections of women hearts and that you should know your health risk during pregnancy matters a lot.
Where women hearts And High Blood Pressure care are concerned, we must keep our waist circumference at 35 inches or below. And, if that measurement is higher, then you're at a greater risk for heart disease. This is usually because we are overweight.
We already know all these information and the need for women awareness, but Dr. Goldberg, medical director of NYU Langone Medical Center, overheard a doctor saying that women don't get heart disease. She immediately recognized what she had already knew that women needed to start a dialogue about their own unique risk factors, and created The Joan H. Tisch Center for Women’s Health.
