Meghan Ory has played plenty of Hallmark heroines, but Everly Stone might be her first Scrooge. In THE SPIRIT OF HALLOWEEN, a Halloween-themed spin on A Christmas Carol, Everly is a bridal designer who wants nothing to do with the holiday after an old heartbreak at the town’s fire-station party. Then three mischievous spirits take her through one unforgettable night, with longtime friend Beau Madison (Kevin McGarry) still carrying a spark from their past.Meghan talks about what it’s like to play the one resisting the joy, and what she and Kevin did, and discovered along the way, to bring the sparks for Everly and Beau right from the very beginning. With Countdown to Christmas just around the corner, she shares why Everly and Beau’s love story is worth rooting for, even for viewers hoping for that Christmas-movie romance feel.We also get into the cast of ghosts, Everly’s dynamic with her co-worker, what about Everly’s story she thinks will really resonate with audiences beyond the costumes, the time travel, and the romance, and what it was like shooting that ending.THE SPIRIT OF HALLOWEEN premieres Saturday, October 10 at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel and streams the next day on Hallmark+.Be sure to check out my interview with co-star Kevin McGarry also:    • Kevin McGarry: Reacting to Weekend WCTH Ne...  #MeghanOry #TheSpiritOfHalloween #KevinMcGarry #HallmarkChannel #HallmarkHalloween #HallmarkPlus

Kevin McGarry is back on Heart in Motion, fresh off a busy weekend at Hearties Family Reunion, and we have a lot to catch up on. Since our last sit-down in March 2025, we've crossed paths at the Hallmark Christmas Cruise and the Hallmark Christmas Experience in Kansas City. This time we're talking about his new Hallmark movie, THE SPIRIT OF HALLOWEEN.The movie is a spooky, second-chance romance twist on A Christmas Carol. Bridal designer Everly Stone (Meghan Ory) has wanted nothing to do with Halloween since an old heartbreak at the town's fire-station party. When her late mentor delivers a warning, three mischievous spirits take her through one unforgettable night that could help her heal and reconnect with her past, and with her longtime friend Beau Madison.Kevin talks about playing Beau, the friend who hasn't gotten the girl yet but leaves no doubt about how he feels, and what makes Beau tick. He explains Everly's hesitation to give anything a chance, how he and Meghan built their connection, and how the movie balances goofy Halloween comedy with real heartfelt moments. We also get into the costumes (and whether he just signed himself up for another costume panel at the Hallmark Christmas Experience), how they made Beau look younger for the trip back in time, working around the ghosts Beau can't see, including Lachlan Quarmby, and the big message about settling at the heart of the story.Plus: Kevin responds to the very exciting news about Nathan and Elizabeth this past weekend and is excited for Hearties to see Season 14 of When Calls the Heart. He's also excited for fans to see his next movie on Hallmark, THE CHRISTMAS EVE FEAST, premiering Friday, November 27 at 6/5c on Hallmark Channel. And, do we need to put out an extra chair at the upcoming McGarries Dinner in Kansas City?THE SPIRIT OF HALLOWEEN premieres Saturday, October 10 at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel and streams the next day on Hallmark+.00:02:16 - Elizabeth and Nathan are married news!00:07:00 - How long can WCTH last?00:12:20 - The Spirit of Halloween 00:22:00 - Kate Gordon, Lucie Guest and Lucie's block on WCTH Season 1400:27:45 - McGarries Dinner in Kansas City 💛 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more interviews and content that are coming soon!Love the interview and want to share a clip? Sixteen films in, and getting the whole GARAGE SALE MYSTERIES cast back in a room still matters to Steve Bacic. In this conversation, he talks about that reunion — and why the goal, this many films in, is still simple: give the fans a good movie. We start there: MURDER TAKES THE STAGE brought the entire team back together, and Steve talks about walking into the Shannon house again with everyone in the cast — what that first day felt like after all this time playing Jason Shannon. Then the premise: Jennifer's true-crime book club stages a reenactment of the Lizzie Borden case — and a real murder follows. Steve talks about what that mystery-inside-a-mystery setup let this story do that a standard case wouldn't.Being the supportive husband isn't quite enough this time around, either. Steve talks about the extra duties Jason takes on to help crack the case, and how quickly he and Lori Loughlin found their rhythm again as Jason and Jennifer.Sixteen films is a rare run for any actor with one character, and Steve reflects on what's changed in Jason — or in how he plays him — since 2014. And there's a moment late in the film that plays like a wink to longtime fans, the group coming back together for another mystery. Steve talks about whether that was written in as a nod to viewers, or just landed that way once the whole cast was back in the room.Plus: before any of this, Steve was headed for a career in sports. He talks about what he's actually watching these days.Subscribe for new actor, writer, and director interviews every week.#SteveBacic #GarageSaleMysteries #MurderTakesTheStage #HallmarkChannel #LoriLoughlin💛 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more interviews and content that are coming soon!Instagram: / heartinmotionmediaWebsite: heartinmotionmedia.comX: https://x.com/StephHeartnm
