Matthew 19:16-30 Can I earn eternal life?

There are many things that motivate us to work. For some, it’s just that paycheck to keep us afloat. For others, there’s a specific goal in mind, such as a new car or a new house. And then even further than that, there are those who are disciplined enough to have retirement plans in their future. In his message today, Pastor Carlos tells you that even better than a new car, or house, or even retirement, you can be working towards heavenly rewards. Your service to God in this life will pay off in eternity.

Not everything that sounds spiritual is true.

In 2 Corinthians 11, Paul warns the church about “another Jesus,” a different spirit, and a different gospel. Spiritual deception can be difficult to recognize because it often looks convincing, sounds biblical, and even appears righteous.

So how do we discern what is true?

Stay devoted to Christ. Test every message against the Word of God. Look beyond appearances. And remember that we cannot outsource our discernment.

There is one Jesus, one Spirit, and one Gospel.

The Bride belongs to the Bridegroom. Stay faithful to Him.

En 2 Corintios 11, Pablo advierte a la iglesia acerca de “otro Jesús”, un espíritu diferente y un evangelio diferente. El engaño espiritual puede ser difícil de reconocer porque muchas veces parece convincente, suena bíblico y hasta puede tener apariencia de justicia.

Entonces, ¿cómo podemos discernir lo que es verdadero?

Permanezcamos fieles a Cristo. Examinemos cada mensaje a la luz de la Palabra de Dios. Miremos más allá de las apariencias. Y recordemos que no podemos dejar nuestro discernimiento en manos de otros.

Hay un solo Jesús, un solo Espíritu y un solo Evangelio.

La Novia le pertenece al Novio. Permanezcamos fieles a Él.

Have you ever seen a road crew where you’ve got three guys standing around watching one guy do all the work? Wouldn’t it be more efficient if the other three guys found something productive to do? I mean, think about it, they could get four times the work done! In today’s message, Pastor Carlos wants you to know that there are no spectators when it comes to building God’s Kingdom. If you’re a son or daughter of God, then you’ve got a job to do. You’ve got Kingdom work to get done!

It’s easy to measure our lives by appearances, compare ourselves with others, or seek the approval of people. But Paul reminds us that none of those are the right measuring stick.

In 2 Corinthians 10:7–18, we learn to look beyond outward appearances, reject the trap of comparison, and faithfully embrace what God has entrusted to us.

Ultimately, the approval that matters most is not what others say about us, or even what we say about ourselves. It is what the Lord says.

Es fácil medir nuestra vida por las apariencias, compararnos con los demás o buscar la aprobación de las personas. Pero Pablo nos recuerda que ninguna de esas es la manera correcta de medir.

En 2 Corintios 10:7–18 aprendemos a mirar más allá de las apariencias, rechazar la trampa de la comparación y ser fieles con lo que Dios nos ha confiado.

Al final, la aprobación que más importa no es lo que otros dicen de nosotros, ni siquiera lo que nosotros decimos de nosotros mismos. Es lo que dice el Señor.

When’s the last time you checked your social media stats? How many followers do you have? How many are you following? Have your posts been getting likes and shares? Are your reels getting plenty of views? Isn’t it exhausting to keep up with all of that?! In today’s message, Pastor Carlos encourages you to shift your focus to following Jesus. Don’t get caught up in the celebrity culture of the day, always chasing the next best thing, but just be content with patient, faithful obedience to Christ. 

The greatest spiritual battles are often fought in the mind.

In 2 Corinthians 10:1–6, Paul reminds us that followers of Jesus are called to fight differently. Our weapons are not human strength, clever arguments, or worldly methods. They are the powerful resources God has given us through His Word, His Spirit, and our obedience to Christ.

Strongholds are built one lie at a time, but they are torn down one truth at a time. Every thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of God must be brought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

In this message, Pastor Carlos teaches how believers can respond with the character of Christ, recognize the true nature of spiritual warfare, and experience the freedom that comes from renewing the mind through God’s Word.
