It's Part I of our 2019 Holiday Special as we return to the Lair of the Red Robed Lich. This year a familiar face tries to escape the clutches of the Lich through magical abilities and good old fashioned fighting.

Sickness has ravaged the Heart Points family this week so we've reached out to actual family for this episode. This week Zack's brother Gavin (also of the Chasing Chocobos podcast) plays a treasure seeking thief navigating a "trap" filled dungeon.

We've (mostly) recovered from PAX Unplugged and we have our first guests on the show as we look back at everything we got up to. Zack and Diana are joined by editor Zack B. and Becky B. to talk about the games we played, the people we met, and the cats we bonded with on PAX weekend.

Ção channels the magical world to ask a god for help and to contact allies on the other side of Corpsetown. The magic may have tipped off her enemies to their plans that might need to change, but Ção is the first to admit she's not a strategistician.

In episode 48 Ção discovers that entering a sacred site to partake in magical rituals makes some of her allies extremely upset.

In episode 47 Ção takes stock of her gathered fighting force and tries to figure out what to do about the dudes that can shoot fireballs . . . maybe get the water hoses?

Ção "ain't got time for mystical stuff" in ep. 46 as she heads deeper into the cemetery to meet the head of the Gravediggers guild and drum up support for the coming fight.

Halloween maybe over but things are just starting to get spooky for Ção. She heads into the Corpsetown cemetery to rally support but more waits for her there than just living allies.

Also Diana and Zack test out a new recording setup.

In our final 2018 Halloween Special we play Dead Friend by Lucian Kahn. Diana plays as teenager Skyler who is trying to bring back her friend Liam, played by Zack, from the dead.
