Aaron shares his experiences of connecting with people in Thailand and learning the implications of the established charity systems - and how to do better. “Part of that first year was all of our great plans of how we're going to change what we're doing. And this is what we're going to do now. And those all got shut down. Because we realized, Oh, that's not gonna work, that's not gonna work. That's not gonna work. This is ridiculous. And what we did is we started taking on this methodology, rather than a program. And it was to get to know deeply the communities that were available to us, to enter into, to get to know them, and be known by them in a relationship deep enough that they can hurt us.”
