How has the church poked God in the eye? In Christianity, we have harmed God’s chosen people, the Jews. Christianity has said that “We are the new Israel.” Christianity has said that God is done with the Jewish people. Christianity has said, “Don’t read the Old Testament”. Few churches give the Jewish people the respect that is due to them.
It's as though God says, “Anyone who harms you harms my most precious possession, the pupil of my eye. Whatever you do to Zion you do to me.”
What driving force did the church follow to treat the chosen people the way they have for so long? What can we do to turn this around? Listen in as Sharon shares her heart!

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear." Hebrews 12:28
“For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom." Mark 13:8
Today Sharon teaches about the kingdom of darkness that stands in opposition to the Kingdom of Light, God’s kingdom. The mother of all battles lies ahead. The church needs to repair its relationship with the Jewish nation. We cannot have the coming of the LORD without Israel. We must love and bless Israel! If we do not bless her, we won’t be in God’s unshakable kingdom!
In the rebellion in the heavens, one-third of the unrighteous angels followed Satan instead of God, and this present darkness of principalities and powers of the air are among us. Dark forces in today’s world have formed allegiances to another god. Our unshakable coming kingdom with be standing here in Jerusalem when Satan is destroyed and God will be all in all!

March 22, 2023 The Call of Ruth - Pt 2
The Orpah part of the church was blessed by marrying Boaz and becoming a part of the Commonwealth of Israel through the Jewish Messiah, Jesus. But the Orpah part of the church has forgotten her mother-in-law, Naomi (Israel). Ruth did not forgot Naomi, but she chose to stay by her and to love her. Similarly, the Ruth part of the church chooses to stay by Israel and to love her. We married spiritually into the Commonwealth of Israel through the Messiah. Ruth, the Moabitess, cast her lot with the Jewish people and with the God of Israel.
The Orpah church mindset and behavior has caused a stain on our wedding garments.
There is a dangerous doctrine out there called Replacement Theology. It purports that the Church has totally replaced Israel. The Church doesn’t need her anymore. That is the Orpah church… that turned away and abandoned Naomi. Today the church, in a spirit of Ruth, needs to wrap our arms around Israel, our Naomi, and tenderly care for her by praying for her fervently, and blessing her in whatever way we can.

The story of Ruth and Naomi is a parallel portrait of the Church and Israel.
The book of Ruth is an analogy of what the relationship between the church and Israel should be.
Orpah is a portrait of the part of the Christian church that has not been able to understand
and appreciate the inseparable bond between the Church and Israel. Rather than comfort Naomi, the Orpah part of the church has left Naomi to mourn and fend for herself, uninterested in being a blessing to her and distancing herself from her.
The Ruth part of the church has a revelation of God’s plans and purposes for Naomi, that is, for Israel. There is a sovereign move of God today, throughout the nations, to return to our Jewish roots and to the foundation of our faith.

With or without world approval, Jerusalem is the heart of Israel and Temple Mount is the heart of Jerusalem. Every culture, nation and tribe will one day come up to the city by way of the highway of Zion. Jerusalem has a spiritual dynamic found nowhere else. Jerusalem is the place where God chooses to put His throne on earth.

“For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14
God is calling Christians throughout the nations to stand with Israel “for such a time as this.” Biblical prophecy is being fulfilled with the ingathering and return of the Jews to their ancient homeland, Israel. We see God’s covenants and promises to the Jewish people being fulfilled, as God watches over His word to perform it.
Christians Friends of Israel, founded in 1985, seeks to show unconditional love to the Jewish people, to come alongside to serve and support them in sinking their roots deeply into the land of Israel. Listen to anecdotal stories from Ray and Sharon Sanders, as they share of the different CFI projects, and how deeply these outreaches have impacted the lives of the Jewish people in Israel.

February 28, 2023 Taking the Words of Jesus Seriously

The restoration of all things is at hand, as spoken of in Acts 3:21:
… “and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, “whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.
Part of the “all things that will be restored” is that Christians return to their spiritual foundations, built upon the Prophets and Apostles.
For those of us who are believers in Yeshua, we must let it sink in that He taught Torah when He walked the earth—just not according to man’s doctrines. The New Testament was founded upon the Torah.
The Jewishness of the Master and the Jewishness of Christianity should bring us to a deeper understanding of the scriptures and to a closer unity. The wall between Judaism and Christianity will be torn down. Upon Yeshua’s return, there will be One Kingdom, One king, One bride, and One people!

To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem. Psalm 102:21

For the LORD has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His dwelling place: “This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it. Psalm 132:13-14
When Yeshua returns, where will He be ruling and reigning from? The throne to His millennial kingdom is… Jerusalem! God will make Jerusalem a praise throughout all the earth when Yeshua comes!
For the LORD shall build up Zion; He shall appear in His glory. Psalm 102:16

The city of Zion is now being built up and this is a sign of the soon return of Yeshua! Her restoration is a signal to the nations to be ready for His appearing!
