Heartburn Honeys

It's that time of the year once again. I am putting the finishing touches on this year's SGMR Christmas Podcast Special Thing. So, I decided that I would repost my first Christmas Special from 2016, which was a unique telling of "A Visit From St. Nick" with production help from Jason from Up In This Brain. Episode 88: An SGMR Christmas

We recorded this clip on December 1st for #CNDOP (see the title) while driving home from Krampusfest and looking at Christmas lights. It was a spur of the moment thing, so the conversation is a bit disorganized, but we talk about podcasting, Christmas lights, MMPR, and Doug Slater (not AC). Episode 125: The Canadian National Day Of Podcasting

Hello again, everyone. After a bit of a hiatus, Heavy D and I are back with another installment of Heartburn Honeys, where we eat completely healthy and nutritious food. We also tell stories about our days and the insane within them. Please enjoy this double clip. Episode 124: Heartburn Honeys: The Pilgrim

BeerYes, I am releasing another episode finally. This time, it contains the long lost Heartburn Honeys episode filled with controversial subject matter. Just kidding, it's just us eating stuff as usual. There might be some additional conversation. Anyway, let's eat! Episode 123: The Lost Episode

It's just little ol' me talking into your ears again about what's been going on in my life. I also have a new Heartburn Honeys clip to share from the Ohio Turnpike when we were on our way back from Michigan. Episode 122: I Think I'm Still Here

I am taking a listen to the 100 Greatest Albums of all time as determined by six different lists averaged together. This is going to be an In Your Earholes series, but I am cross-posting this to get the word out. The link to the form is below. RULES: Choose your top three albums. Only the highest available choice will be your pick. You can choose another only after your episode has been recorded.Highlighted albums are already reserved. I'm fully employed...as of September 1. I'm thrilled beyond belief. I have also started playing Pokemon Go again because, hey, why not? It's getting me exercise. I also have a Heartburn Honeys at the end. Also, thanks to Jason for the opening sound. I still crack up hearing it. Episode 121: A Great Weight Has Been Lifted

I'm getting a new mixer finally, but currently I'm recording on my old, setting up a new sound board for The Showhole and In Your Earholes. Oh yeah, Jason and I have started a new podcast after killing our old one. I am also working out the specifics of a new project for the new podcast. There is a Heartburn Honeys at the end of this episode, so keep your ears tuned in for that. Episode 120: Testing Out New Stuff

I get set off by political memes, especially when they stigmatize an already marginalized group of people. In this case, it's the poor and, more specifically, welfare recipients. I applied for public assistance during this latest stint of unemployment and was rejected because my meager unemployment check was still too much money despite my bills. I also tried to apply for Medicaid and was also rejected, despite the fact that my only other recourse was COBRA, which would have taken more than a quarter of my income. BONUS: There is a Heartburn Honeys with Heavy D and me to end on a fun note. Episode 119: Just Let Me Rant

Unfortunately, I lost a clip that we recorded on our way to MMPR where reviewed a snack, so you only get a clip from before breakfast as we drove to Hamilton from Guelph, and then a fun clip after we crossed the border. We would like to thank everyone for the great weekend. Episode 118: MMPR 2018
