Jesus chooses humility.

Jesus asks for obedience.

Jesus wants our willingness.

It takes some work on our part to not hold on to the past and move forward into the things God has.

Just before his ascension, Jesus gave his disciples one final charge. This statement is the summary of the entire Acts of the Apostles, as well as being the mission statement that should undergird the mission statement of every congregation. He said to go and witness to the world.

What does God's love for us look like? What does it look like for us to love others?

Equipping others for ministry and equipping ourselves for ministry.

An Indigenous look at the Kingdom of God

Remembering what God has done, and looking ahead to what is next.

We are called to create something so beautiful that it stands in stark contrast to it's surroundings.

God is faithful to generations of those who belong to him. And we are called to be an inter-generational community and to bless the generations that come after us.

It no longer requires a lamb or a goat to offer a sacrifice to God. But we still can offer a sacrifice of praise.

All believers are called to be a part of a holy nation to God, to serve as priests and to offer ourselves as a sacrifice.
