There is coming a king who will be unlike any other king we have known, who will establish a kingdom that is unlike any other kingdom we have known: a kingdom of peace.

God calls us to study patiently with him so that we might learn how to allow our weapons of conflict to be transformed into implements that bring life.

Jesus chooses to save others before he saves himself. Christ calls us to seek to live in the same way, actively working for the salvation of others even if it costs us greatly.

The Trick Question

Jesus extends forgiveness to those who begin to make restitution for the wrongs they have done.

Salvation and justification come to us only after we realize that we are lowly and sinful and in need of God’s mercy.

May we have ears to hear and eyes to see what God is doing around us.

It takes faith in a strong God to be able to offer forgiveness.

True righteousness is found not in wealth or social status but in loving God and neighbor through generosity and hospitality.
