Like Israel, and like Jesus, we are God's Spirit empowered servants who have been commissioned to go into the world enacting restorative justice.

Genesis 1 calls us to confess the majesty and faithfulness of God and to respond in celebration and praise.

Are we exhibiting the marks of Jesus Christ in our lives?

God desires to inhabit us in such a way that our obedience and faithfulness is not merely a result of our action, but that our very substance is used to birth God’s work and word in our world.

We look at the past to see what God is doing in the present and pray for guidance in the future.

Our King comes to restore the broken and the hopeless so that they might become strong messengers of righteousness who then go, in the power of the Spirit, to work in his name.

Each Advent is a chance for us to have a new beginning, heading the call of God’s grace to join ourselves with the work that God is currently doing.

In our brokenness we long for our king to come to reshape our world and us.

Those who will find themselves invited into God’s eternal kingdom are those who have properly expressed their love for God through their love and care for their neighbor, especially “the least of these.”

Much is required of those who have been given things of great value.
