So, you got a fantastic idea! You went to work! It was going so well! ... Until you faced a few challenges, got upset with your progress and decided that there was no point continuing. Was it even a good idea in the first place?
In this episode I explore the idea of "Rocky Ground" and show us how our emotions are signals to help us recognise when we need God's help.
There's a short audio clip of Dr Anita Phillips speaking at the Echo Conference Session 3, in a message titled, "There You Grow", clipped from the YouTube channel of Grace City. I do not have rights to that audio clip and only used it to ascribe credit to her teaching.
If you've ever felt like this faith walk is too much work, this episode is for you.
Of course, I talk about this in more detail in my book, MOTION. Available worldwide on Amazon! Just search "MOTION by Omotayo Ajoke Adeola" or just click this link for more information.
Before there was a book called MOTION, I was curious about the fact that human our behaviour is often more influenced by how we feel than what we know. The Internet has increased our access to knowledge and we are the most informed generation in history - and yet, in several situations, we end up doing what we feel like doing even when we "know" different.
In this episode, I talk about that initial interest and I also share a few examples that we can all relate with.
Welcome to Hearts in MOTION, the official podcast of the book, MOTION by Omotayo Ajoke Adeola.
