Leaves you wanting more

Great start to a series, however it does leave you wanting more. The first book was slow to start but once it got going it was great. Well developed if not a touch too short. The second book was a bit harder for me as there is too much time jumps and too many point of views than I personally like in a book. It does calm down a touch, but is very eventful. It leaves you wondering about past events, and if they ever will come out. Overall a enjoyable read.

Great Story

This is a great story. It is filled with love and attempted redemption. This story draws you in and keeps you wondering what will happen next. However, you need to be prepared to buy the next one in the series to find out what happens. Trust me though, it is worth it!

She keeps getting better and better!

Since I discovered my first Danielle steel book I have read - or listened to - everything she has written and each one becomes my new favorite. Until the next book or series comes out. As I have come to expect with Danielle Stewart books, this one has it all: sweet romance, some spice (without filling every other page with a gratuitous sex scene), intelligent dialogue between the characters, and intrigue and suspense to keep you guessing. Yes this one has a cliffhanger at the end but she's turning books out so quickly that books 3 and 4 were available on audible by the time that I got done with this one so there was no wait to find out what happens to the characters. (Audible, we need All of Danielle Steele's books recorded so that I can listen to them while I do my housework! )

I thought this was a really good start to the series. You must keep in mind that this is a series and a to be continued into the next book. So much pain and anger for a man who is out for revenge for the wrong that has been done to him. It isnt very often you get a free book from an unknown author to you that turns out to be a gold mind. You get two books in one for free which makes it work picking up the next one in the series. I love the audio and this narrator so I picked the audio up at a steal. This was a great listen it is full of suspense which the author and narrator had me hook from the first page. You will find corruption, betrayal, so much pain and anger, revenge and lost love. The author gives you a well thought out plot with wonderful characters who you can relate to. I know people do not like cliffhangers but when you get the first two free and you find a gold mind it is worth paying for the other.

Rebecca Roberts as always gives me a highly entertaining listen she puts so much into her audios giving you a wonderful clear listen free of background noise. There are no high or low tones just wonderful clear even voices. I love her voice and could listen to it all day.
