While there were positives to be taken from our first European group stage game, it was a particularly grim day for those of the Gorgie persuasion on Sunday. Jamie, Adam and John consider their views of Vranken and his general set up and do their best to take some perspective ahead of trips to Turkey and Motherwell.
It has been well over 3 years since we last humbled a Premiership team a Tynie by 5 goals (cheers Aberdeen). But this one didn't feel like a one off. It felt like it could be the start of things to come. Adam and Jamie talk about a Tynecastle tanking before looking ahead to our first European game of the group stages.
International break is coming to a close which can only mean two things: The Gorgie are back and are we. Joining us this week is St Mirren fan Robbie Collins from Wee Talk Media to discuss our upcoming game against The Buddies.
Been an up and down couple of weeks and we catch up on it all and look ahead to what's next.
Another great week for the jambos as we swept aside our local rivals and finally got the better of Pressley's well polished team, proving that you can polish a shite but it's still a jobi team. We also talk about injuries and look ahead to our league cup tie against Stenhousemuir.
We reflect on a good old classic game of two halves down in Gorgie against St Johnstone and look ahead to the Edinburgh derby. We also look at all the latest comings and goings in the Tynie transfer market.
This week we welcome on Matt from Raising Anchor Podcast - a podcast dedicated to Rhode Island FC as we discuss their former player and our latest signing, JJ Williams. We then reflect on what was a very, very enjoyable week all while we witness Hibs Hibsing it in real time.
This week, the (eventual) dismantling of Caley Thistle is discussed as well as looking back at our previous Euro game and looking forward to the upcoming Euro game. A 6 goal (or more) quiz is included as well as a look at our incoming striker.
Our first home league game of the season and Wouter has already equalled our biggest winning margin from last season. The boys talk about how things finally clicked despite the lack of first team options in defence. They discuss our memories of Kyzi, have a quiz and look ahead to our next 2 games. The Gorgie Juggernaught has begun and with just a 5 goal cushion, Benfica must be bricking it....
We are joined this week by Paul Beeson from Two Halves Productions to preview his upcoming Edinburgh Fringe show, A Play of Two Halves. Taking place in the 1874 Supporters Bar, this is 2 plays in one (Moved and Season in Bloom) which covers last season and looking ahead to the future. They're about inner turmoil, hope and, of course, the fans. In the podcast we also talk about the disappointment of the Aberdeen game- and not just the result itself- then we get back to the positives as we look ahead to the Dundee Utd and possible Euro ties. Quiz and mental health chats included.
