I am sharing my 2025 Word of the Year in this Season 7 finale episode and talking about what it has been like to become an influencer over the course of my life.
This episode is a bot of a peak behind the curtain of my personal growth as an entrepreneur that I don’t often share.
I hope my share inspires your own introspection about what parts of you that you hide or resist and that you find a way to integrate it.
This season has been such a fun one to get to share the unleashed hearts I know and I hope that you have felt inspired to unleash more of yours as well.
What a fun ride 2024 has been and I am honored to have shared some of it with you!
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for listening to the Hearts Unleashed Podcast, where we are turning dreamers into doers.
I love you.
For episode reference, here is my 2025 word of the year blog piece:
Confession, I used to gag a little at the idea of being an influencer.
I was ashamed and embarrassed if people thought that’s what I was doing online.
I would listen to the way others would talk and joke about influencers and feel terrified about what people would say about me when I wasn’t around. (Especially based on what some people have said straight to my face.)
I have felt deeply insecure when filming in public.
I have been afraid that people judge me as vain, arrogant, self-centered, conceited, etc.
I have overly concerned myself that people think I am vapid and superficial, because I share my life online.
I have internalized the jokes, spoofs, parodies, comments, and more - and to carry that around has been heavy and harmful to my well-being and potential.
I have wrestled with this battle for years as my influence and audience has grown.
I have developed a protective layer of righteousness because I want to be taken seriously for my craft and my gifts.
I am a coach, no doubt.
I am a teacher through and through.
But when it comes to showing up online, I have done everything I could not to be perceived as an influencer.
I am a content creator.
I am an author.
I am a podcaster.
I am a YouTuber.
I am a community builder.
I am a course creator.
I am a CEO.
I am an inspiration.
Call me a million things…
but not an influencer.
I have given way too much of my personal and professional power away being so averse to that simple word, concept, and identity.
So much so that I unconsciously suffocated that part of me quite a bit compared to my earlier years of sharing content.
So let’s all have a little laugh together...
Raise your hand if you have ever been influenced by me.
L.O.L.

One who has become much more willing and ready to step into that identity with love, compassion, joy, fun, and play.
Funny enough, this may seem trivial to those of you who already see me as such, AND yet our success cannot supersede our self image.
The internal friction I have navigated with this development has created a glass ceiling that has limited my reach, influence, and potential.
Welp, no more.
I am eager to see what INFLUENCE as my word of the year will bring.
I wonder what influence it will have on my life, work, content, relationships, and opportunities.
Haha, like, comment, subscribe, and share for more.
And seriously, whether you have been here for 10 minutes 10 years or my whole life or anywhere in between it is truly an honor to have you along for the ride thank you.
If the holiday season and transition from summer to fall to winter negatively affect you, this is a great episode for you. I have some practical practices to offer and some encouragement to send you off with as we kick off the holidays, gatherings, and gift giving. I want you to be well year round and this time of the year calls for extra care and attention so if you could use the extra support, join me now.
Questions from the episode:
What do you need?
How can you meet those needs?
How can you get the support you need?
Shift your complaint to curiosity
-What are you complaining about?
-How can you turn that into a question?
What self-care do you need to add to your winter regimen?
How can you create space and slowness for yourself?
How would you like it to go different this year?
What are you actually doing to have it go differently?
Too many people think they want the lifestyle of their dreams when really they just want the result. In their mind’s eye, they see an ideal life and can imagine themselves in the image/scene.
However, they don’t imagine the whole lifestyle they dream of…They only imagine the good and great parts. If you want to live a life of your personal definition of success then you have to be willing to live in alignment with that outcome. The lifestyle of having great health, wealth, and abundance of happiness and ease, also comes with persistence, discipline, commitment, sacrifice, dedication, and more. But most people only envision cashing the check, kissing the dream person, relaxing in their dream house, driving their dream car, and enjoying vacations but never daydream about the path it will take to get there and all the behind the scenes work it will take. Check out this episode to break the habit that keeps you only ever dreaming of your most ideal life so you can start living it much sooner!
Come get you a big dose of Grandma Medicine with my very own maternal Grandmother, Carol Mikula Jacobson. This episode is partly Hearts Unleashed inspired and mostly personally indulgent in listening to Grams 81 years of life, love, and business experience. I definitely intended to interview her about herself and her journey and this episode inadvertently also became a testimony for the hidden gem of a town, The Little City by the Lake, Whiting, Indiana. Having lived in Whiting her entire life, Carol has seen many seasons, phases, eras, and shifts of her beloved hometown and has contributed to the community for the majority of her life. Tune in for this very special and nostalgic episode of the Hearts Unleashed Podcast where living your heart unleashed is a family trait.
We went in many directions in this episode and yet, there were many common threads throughout this conversation with Dr. Camilla Moore. As a woman who has navigated IVF, career transitions, and creating a life of balance and satisfaction, Dr. Moore and I jam out on what it looks and feels like to give up what you want most in commitment to finding peace and harmony in our bodies. She offers a clinical and scientific approach to manifesting our desires that activates a new access point to living our hearts unleashed! So dive into this episode if you are ready and willing to strike a balance on all the things that are most important to you.
How we see ourselves colors our entire existence; how we relate to our situations, others, and the world. Our self image dictates our success, decisions, actions, thoughts, responses, and so much more. And the trick of it, how you relate to yourself started in your childhood. Your formative years very literally formed how you turned out. You cannot shift what you cannot see so if you cannot fully see how you view yourself, then it is pretty challenging to understand how your world takes shape around you.
I love intimate episodes like this where I talk about a familiar topic in a fresh way. I love diving in on the mechanics of mysticism to help you navigate designing your life with clarity, intention, support, and power. So come dream in detail with me and gift yourself the experience of living your dream in real time!

I am sharing a spirituality practice with you that I have been exercising since early 2020 that has led to much of my personal and professional growth. If you have been struggling with a sense of self or are feeling drained of your life force energy, boredom is a healthy and holistic option to help restore you back to an energized place. In a world of constant stimulation and distraction, allowing yourself to actually be bored and finding out what is on the other side of that will reveal more of who you are and what you would most like to be up to. So come be bored with me for a little while and unlock your next level of satisfaction!
