Life is full right now in the most beautiful and exhausting way for Kylee and Chelsey. Lambing & harvest season is in full swing on the farm and Kylee is finding her footing back in the homeschool routine. So there is no new episode this week and possibly not next week either. But they will be back and they are already ready.

Surrender might be the hardest thing God ever asks of us. Because it means loosening our grip, trusting his plan over ours, and letting go of the outcome we so badly wanted to control. Surrendering is not giving up. It is giving everything over to the one who loves you the most.

God already knows what you need. The birds do not worry about where their food is coming from and your heavenly Father values you far more than the birds.

He is enough. All the podcasts, all the books, all the content in the world cannot replace just digging deeper into him. All the information you actually need is already there.

Your life does not consist in the abundance of your possessions. None of it matters the way we think it does. The memories are what stays.

Simplicity makes hospitality easy. When you have less, letting people in is not a production. You can just open the door.

When you have too much you forget you need him. When you have too little you start reaching for the wrong things. The prayer in Proverbs says it perfectly. Give me neither poverty nor riches. Just what I need.

The simple things are what your kids are going to remember. Not the extravagant vacations. The Sunday pancakes. The Friday movie nights. The limo riding around looking at Christmas lights.

Prayer is never just all you can do. It is the most powerful thing you can do. Do not apologize for it. In the moments of struggle and loss God is often using you for someone else you cannot even see yet.

It is easy to see what is wrong. The mess, the disappointments, the unanswered prayers, the things we wish were different. But what if we are missing the ways God is working because we are only looking at what is lacking? Just because someone else is being blessed does not mean you are not. Comparing blessings is just pride in disguise.

Guilt is God nudging you toward change. Shame is the devil keeping you stuck. Know the difference and get out of the shame cycle by returning to him.

Everything that is worthy of praise, think about these things. Even on the worst days there is something. Find the small pocket of good and start there.

The first thought just comes sometimes. But the second thought is always a choice.

His timing is always perfect. Even when you cannot see why. Especially when you cannot see why.

Serving others is one of the fastest ways to start seeing the good again. It gets you out of your own head and into his hands.

Be the good so that people can see it. You do not have to post Bible verses to reflect Christ. You just have to show up with love.

The sufferings of right now are not worth comparing to the glory that is coming. The messy house, the hard season, the kid going through something, it is not the end of the story.

Your gift is not an accident. God put something specific in you on purpose, for a purpose. The thing that feels totally normal and easy to you is probably someone else's mystery.

Each person is skillful in their own work. You cannot copy and paste someone else's calling. You have to find your unique.

Your gifts are not just for you. They are meant to be shared. If you are a great artist, share it. If you bring people together, start something. Someone out there needs exactly what you carry.

When you truly enjoy your work it does not feel like work. That is not an accident either. That is a sign.

The world keeps telling us to find ourselves but the Bible tells us to die to ourselves. He creates the new self. We just have to stop getting in the way.

Do your work quietly, faithfully, and on purpose. Not to prove anything. For the kingdom.

If something keeps stirring in your heart, there is a reason. He did not put it there for nothing. The seeds people keep planting around you, those are not coincidences either.

What seems totally normal and obvious to you is probably not obvious to anyone else. That is your gift. That is your thing.

We are all busy. But are we busy with God or just busy?

Rest is not a reward for finishing everything. It was built into the design from the very beginning. If God rested, what makes us think we do not need to?

Working hard without God at the center is just spinning your wheels. The hustle means nothing if he is not in it.

Busyness becomes a master fast. The gut check is not how much you are doing. It is who is actually running your life.

Jesus does not ask you to do less. He asks you to do it with him. The rest he offers is not a nap. It is a soul thing.

Martha letting Jesus in is what allowed her to see a new perspective. If we are not letting God into our hearts, nothing is going to change. Because most of the time it is our eyes that need to see differently.

Gratitude keeps you centered. Thank him for the green lights. Thank him for the red ones too.

You can either sit in a pity party or a praise party. Choose the praise party.

Stillness is not just physical quiet. It is quieting the noise long enough to remember who is actually in charge.

Exodus 23:12 -- Six days you shall do your work, but on the seventh day you shall rest.

Psalm 127:1-2 -- Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil.

Matthew 6:24 -- No one can serve two masters. You cannot serve God and wealth.

Matthew 11:28-30 -- Come to me all who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
