Uncertain times wrapped up in the twists and turns of life come without a warning. The certainty of the reality, love and sovereign power of God gives us all the stability , strength and courage we all need. The unchanging nature of God’s faithfulness goes beyond our times of unfaithfulness in totally depending on Him to carry us through. God’s master plan for our lives is always on course even in Uncertain times.

The reality of spiritual warfare cannot be denied as we all journey through life.The good news is we are fighting from a place of victory as believers in Christ Jesus not from a place of defeat. Jesus declared “it is finished!” on the cross giving us the weapons to secure our victory over sin, strife and stress in life. God’s weapons freely given to us like our salvation are greater, more effective and decisive than any known or unknown weapon in earth.

The bedrock for a lifestyle of praise is a thankful heart.The knowledge and gratitude of our unmerited status in Christ prepares us for a lifestyle of praise. Praising God each and everyday puts him at the very center of our lives where he belongs and should be. A lifestyle of praise is a lifestyle of honoring, giving thanks to God who is the giver and source of our very lives and manifold blessings. God preserves us even in the midst of the challenges life can bring.

The grace of God in us and through us is made manifest in different ways in each given situation each day.

The declarations of faith is beyond making positive confessions. It is not an exercise in mere futility. It is believing and declaring God’s Word and power .The declarations of faith are verbal actions of faith over our lives and situations. It grows our faith and gives us victory.

Proverbs chapter 18 verse 21 reminds us that the words we speak over our lives and to others are life or death. The fruit of our words are the good or bad outcomes in our lives or in the life of others. A sober reflection of our life and faith journey leads us to taking a few seconds or moment to think about the impact of our words before we speak. The word of God is able to transform the words we speak, the timing and how we speak for a wholesome life.

Through out human history, brutal and bloody wars have been fought but the greatest battles and conflicts goes on in our minds. God seeks to strengthen us and help us overcome our weaknesses while Satan, who is a deceiver and already defeated seeks to control, disrupt and destroy our minds with depraved thoughts that leads to depraved actions. God’s strategies for standing our ground in victory is outlined in his word which helps us to adopt a wholesome lifestyle.

We are all connected by our shared range of human emotions and experiences. God created us with healthy emotions. Joy, sadness and anger are some of the common emotions we express at different times.. Depression is a thief just like Satan who comes to steal, destroy our lives and kill us .Jesus gives us joy and the abundant life inspiring us to take practical steps in dealing with the root causes of depression to overcome it.
