In this episode I sit down with Dr. Jamie Elchert to discuss the intense training regimen she implemented into her life over four years ago that has allowed her to become a 2x gold medalist in sport pole fitness. Jamie shares how she balances being a pro athlete, a physician, and a business owner while still trying to practice self care and maintain a social life.
In this episode my guest Cara and I interview one another about our very similar yet different experiences with congenital heart defects. We both had 5 open heart surgeries prior to heart transplant. I have now had six counting my transplant and Cara is listed & waiting. This episode may listen more like a therapy or support session than an actual podcast but man was it great for both of us! Knowing there is someone out there who has had a similar experience as me was deeply reassuring. I may have had to search half way around the world in Australia but thanks to Instagram I found her!

In this episode I sit down with my sister, Haleigh Lewis as she pours out details on the traumatic event that caused her PTSD. Haleigh talks initial reaction, thoughts and feelings in the weeks following, and how over a year later she still continues to work on healing.
Trigger warning: If talk of PTSD & SUICIDE are out of your comfort zone this episode may not be for you.
