In this episode my guest Cara and I interview one another about our very similar yet different experiences with congenital heart defects. We both had 5 open heart surgeries prior to heart transplant. I have now had six counting my transplant and Cara is listed & waiting. This episode may listen more like a therapy or support session than an actual podcast but man was it great for both of us! Knowing there is someone out there who has had a similar experience as me was deeply reassuring. I may have had to search half way around the world in Australia but thanks to Instagram I found her!
