It's been a challenging start to the season between 4th quarter collapses and a road heavy schedule, made even worse with injuries to players like Herro and Martin. And yet, the Heat have won 5 straight to improve to 6-4 on the season. I go over Miami's 4-0 week against the Lakers, Grizzlies, Hawks, and Spurs. Then, I discuss the changes to the rotation, some by necessity and some to put others in better roles (15:27). Lastly, I look ahead to the next week of Heat games as one road trip ends while another begins (26:06).

Preseason has concluded and the Heat have made their roster decisions ahead of the start of the regular season. First, I go over the last two preseason games and the takeaways I saw. Then, I go over the decision to promote Dru Smith to the roster, the two-way contracts Miami has now, and whether they should kick the tires on a Harden trade. All signs point to the Blazers trying to trade Dame before training camp next week, but the Raptors have emerged as a potential landing spot despite Dame's insistence on Miami. I look into the Raptors trade interest, as well as some reasons for why the Blazers may still send Dame elsewhere. Then, I break down why I think this roster as is without Lillard can still be a top seed and compete for the NBA title (15:42).
