Joey had the pleasure to sit and chat with Malady, guitarist from the Cyber Grind band Thotcrime. The two discuss how the writing process works with the band split across the US and England, the cyber grind scene and whether they will be doing a cover of Blackwater Park by Opeth.

Joey sat down with Deron Miller from 96 BITTER BEINGS to talk about their new album 'Synergy Restored'. They also talked about the pros and cons of streaming services, the meaning behind their new song '90 Car Pile Up' and if Derron still has aspirations to revisit World Under Blood- his Death Metal side-project. 

The new album is out 4th of November on Nuclear Blast records.

Venny and Joey are in the same room for this episode. That's right, Venny was in Dublin so we did a face-to-face review of:  Machine Head The Dallous Cowboys Blackbraid  We had a couple of Guiness before recording so apologies if there is any slurring of words!

Joey and Venny had the pleasure of sitting down with Karl from An Abstract Illusion. Hot on the heels of their latest release 'Woe'. The lads discuss why it took six years to release the new album, signing to Willowtip records and, of course, Opeth albums.

Joey got to sit down with Scott, guitarist from death tech band Fallujah. They discuss the new album 'Empyrean' and how Scott considers it to be the best album in their discography. The lads also discuss how new bassist Evan joined the band and their upcoming tour with Psycroptic. 

Joey and Venny are joined by Dave, Kyle and Duncan, from The Metal Epidemic podcast. The five lads sit down and discuss one album each that will definitely be on their end-of-the-year list, the album they are most looking forward to for the remainder of 2022 and, an album they were really looking forward to and let them down.

It was great getting to catch up with the three lads again and have many a laugh along the way.
