Spiritually, those who follow the Torah of the God of Israel by the Holy Spirit, believe His promises and do His Will in their lives will ascend to Jerusalem or Mount Zion. The one who achieves this goal is the dwelling Bride of Yeshua. She will live forever with Him in the New Jerusalem.

Not everyone who will spend eternity with Yeshua will have equal spiritual status. The spiritual babes or children in Yeshua will live outside the New Jerualem. The spiritually mature in Yeshua (His Bride) will live forever with Him in the New Jerusalem or mount Zion.

In order to be the dwelling Bride of Yeshua and spiritually ascend Mount Zion, she must be redeemed out of Egypt (be saved by grace through faith), overcome the trials and tribulations in life, follow His Torah by the Holy Spirit by loving your neighbor as yourself and produce the fruit of the Spirit, believe His promises and dedicate your life to do His Will for your life.

The Bride of Yeshua will bear much fruit for His Kingdom and give glory to the God of Israel.

A disciple of Yeshua is to put off the world and put on Messiah, and be obedient to Him, His commandments, His Torah and to dedicate our lives to His kingdom:

In order to do the Will of God in our lives, we must “put on” the mind of Yeshua and obey His Torah.In our spiritual journey out of Egypt which begins with Passover, the feast of Tabernacles represents completing the Will of God in our lives. When we complete the Will of God in our lives and see His promises to us be fulfilled, it is the “season of our joy.” By doing the Will of God in our lives, we will have eternal rest (Shabbat) and inheritance as His Bride who will live in the New Jerusalem.

Spiritual maturity is being like Messiah:

Till we all come in the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Messiah. Ephesians 4:13

A disciple of Yeshua grows in spiritual maturity. A disciple of Yeshua does away with childish behavior. Strong meat is for the spiritually mature. A disciple of Yeshua will be spiritually mature in the knowledge of God’s word. Spiritual maturity is following the Torah.

Our purpose in life is to do the Will of God in our lives. We are servants and laborers in the Kingdom of God. We are to put the Kingdom of God first in our lives and to dedicate our lives for the service of His Kingdom. When we do good deeds to others and to love our neighbor as ourself, we lay up treasures in heaven. We are to bear fruit for the Kingdom of God. We do the Will of God in our lives to give Him glory. By being faithful to do the Will of God in our lives, we will receive an eternal inheritance.

In this teaching segment we ask the question “How do we follow Yeshua’s torah?” Following Yeshua’s Torah falls into two main categories:

At Mt Sinai, Yeshua entered into a marriage relationship with his people (Exodus 19:5). The terms and conditions of this marriage is based upon the people keeping his commandments or following His Torah. This marriage offer was accepted by the people of Israel (Exodus 19:8). The Torah is seen as the ketubah (or marriage document) between the God of Israel and His people.

Who was it that received the Torah at Mt Sinai? Exodus 19:3 tells us that it was the house of Jacob:

An omer or ‘sheaf’ can spiritually represent a person or group of people

The journey from leaving Egypt (a type of the world and world system) consists of a time of preparation (counting the omer) to meet with the God of Israel at Mount Sinai.

The spiritual journey consists of:

*Becoming humble (barley beaten)

*Judgment, trials, purification (parched in fire)

*Removing unsound doctrine (tossed in the wind)

*Refinement and living a righteous life (fine flour)

*Living in unity with other brethren (13 sieves)

In this segment we also learn what IS the Torah? We also learn that it was Yeshua who gave us the Torah at Mt. Sinai. The Torah is the wedding ketubah between God and his people. Keeping the Torah is wisdom and understanding. Following the Torah is the way we are to walk.
