HEBREW MONKEYS | Learn Hebrew with Songs

Hi, I'm Elinor (but you can call me Eli) - I've been teaching Hebrew professionally since 2012, which means I have tons of experience and thousands of students under my belt.

I teach at eye level, making Hebrew accessible and enjoyable for everyone. I'm also the host and creator of the HEBREW MONKEYS podcast, distributed on seven different platforms including Spotify and Apple Music. I live in Jerusalem and I'm passionate about helping people fall in love with Hebrew.

Here you can get a taste of my unique method - learning Hebrew through the Israeli songs you love.

Every month I teach two songs! This is the perfect place to get familiar with the method and see how it works for you.

If you've fallen in love with my method of learning Hebrew through songs, it's time to take it to the next level.

Why invest in ongoing Hebrew learning?

• Because Hebrew through songs isn't just fun - it actually works

• Because the variety of songs gives you exposure to real, rich Hebrew

• Because detailed materials and recorded lessons save you hours of independent work

Choose the level that's right for you and let's get started!

------

This episode is also dedicated to the only hostage who has not yet returned home, the Israeli hero Ran Gvili, 24, who fell in battle on October 7th 2023 after saving more than 100 Israelis and eliminating 14 Palestinian terrorists.

Gal De Paz - Bring Them Home

It should be understandable, undeniable
You can't argue at all
Unbelievable, what is happening in the world?
Bring them back now
We don't care
Please understand, our heart is there
And we need them to come back homeIt is unperceivable, unbelievable
What is happening here?
The world won't see it, but we can feel it
We hear it and see it everywhere
We don't care if it seems wrong, how we choose to right this wrong
But if you'd be in our place, would you do it any different, brother?Bring them back home, now
We don't care what it takes
Take the evil off this earth, before it breaks
Bring them back
Loud and clear
We don't care if it hurts your ears
We have no fear
Bring them homeIt's just inconceivable
Such a heavy toll
How can we even breath?
Not to have control
Loved ones being pulled into darkness as they bleed
Bring them back, the time is now
Lift this dark and heavy cloud
We need them to come back homeBring them back home now, out of that horrid place
Then take the evil off this earth, before it breaks
Bring them back
Loud and clear
Don't ask how
The end is near
You can chant and rip and smear
With your empty, evil cheer
We don't care if it hurts your deafened ears
We have no fear
Bring them homeThey need to come back home, now
Bring them home
