The Tabernacle was more than just a tent, it was a point of interaction between the Hebrews and Yah. Leviticus now gives us the instructions for that interaction, instructions which are unchanging. The word unchanging should bring great comfort in our day.

The Hebrews are brought to Mt. Sinai. It is here they will make a choice to enter into covenant and move into their destiny or remain as those who wonder through life. It is not enough to hear the words or study the words. We must make the words a part of our very being and existence.

The Hebrews leave Egypt with the bones of Joseph. Those bones had been their connection to their heritage. Little did they know that except for two men, his bones would be the only bones to make it into Canaan. What will be the destiny of our bones?

The Hebrews live in Goshen, but their gaze toward Egypt will take them into slavery. As life gets harder they begin to cry out. What they did not realize is the answer to their cries has been in a nearby desert being prepared to be their answer.
