Faith is one of the most misunderstood concepts in Christianity, and Hebrews 11 gives us a clear picture of what it truly means. Biblical faith is not positive thinking, manifesting, or believing hard enough to get what you want. It is taking God at His word and living obediently while trusting Him to fulfill His promises in His timing. The heroes of Hebrews 11, including Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, and Sarah, all demonstrated faith that was anchored not in outcomes but in the character of God. Some of them never saw every promise fulfilled in their lifetime, yet they kept believing. Real faith is not the absence of doubt. It is choosing to trust God even when circumstances are hard and prayers seem unanswered. Our hope is not in what we can receive today but in the certain promises of a God who never changes.
