Heb. 8:1-13. In this study, we see the inauguration of the New Covenant with The Superior Priest - Jesus. The Old is deemed faulty, or "limited". It had the ability to declare and demonstrate the righteousness of God, but not the power inherent to make a man righteous, but the opposite, to declare his sinfulness. The New Covenant is introduced in this passage as the work that God Himself does in the heart and mind of the person.
