Hebrews 4:14-5:10 // Thrones are not designed to be welcoming places. They are either telling people to be impressed or to be afraid. The throne of Jesus is unique because He is unique. Jesus is unique because of what He has already accomplished – Jesus has already defeated satan, sin, and death. Jesus is unique because of what He is currently doing. He is interceding for us at the right hand of God. Therefore we should approach the throne of grace not in a fearful or arrogant posture, but boldly!
