Scripture: Hebrews 3:1-13, This teaching begins with an excellent review of the first 11 verses of chapter 3.The preacher is not denigrating Moses, he just has a high view of Jesus. The IF statement in 3.6 is examined. We are "God's House" not by performance -- works are not in the picture. The preacher says "don't have an unbelieving heart. Don't let you heart dry out!" A hardened heart originates in humans. God rested on the seventh day because there was nothing to do. From our perspective when we are bought back by God, we have nothing to do but rest. Unbelief in God and distrust in His promises leads to sin. Exhort one another every day. We have a responsibility to help each other daily.
