1. Wake up (vs 15)
2. Wise up (vs 17)
3. Sober up (vs 18)
4. Speak up (vs 19)
What does this mean for the church?
* Liturgy is our answer to making the most of the time.
* The planning of corporate worship is governed by God’s will, not our own.
* The emphasis of the music portion is always congregational singing.
* There must always be a balance of vertical (God-focused) and horizontal (encouraging and admonishing).
* There must be a diversity of sources for songs.
What does this mean for me?
* Congregational singing is for every believer.
* Congregational singing is an act of the will, the mind, and the heart
* Stay focused on the task at hand.
* Participation in worship is something that cannot be done remotely
* Everyone sings songs they wouldn’t necessarily prefer.
* Our testimony out in the world and our worship on Sunday morning need to be consistent.

Intentional Discipleship- We seek to grow ourselves and one another in trusting and following Jesus.
1) Discipling a fellow believer must be based on sound doctrine (vs 1, 15)

3) Discipling a fellow believer guards the reputation of the Gospel (vs 7b-10)
