1. Where He Went “Sohe reasoned in the synagogue with the Jews and the devout persons, and in the marketplace every day with those who happened to be there.” Acts 17:172. How He Felt “Now while Paul was waiting for them at Athens, his spirit was provoked within him as he saw that the city wasfull of idols.” Acts 17:163. What He Saw “So Paul, standing in the midst of the Areopagus, said: ‘Men of Athens, I perceive that in every way you are very religious.’” Acts 17:224. What He Did “The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent, because he has fixeda day on whichhe will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; andof this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead. Acts 17:30-31allby raising him from the dead.” Acts 17:30,31

Acts 16:13-34 Suffering includes the righteous “When her owners realized that their hope of making money was gone, they seized Paul and Silasand draggedthem into the marketplace to face the authorities.They brought them before the magistrates and said, ‘These men are Jews, and are throwing our city into an uproarby advocating customs unlawful for us Romans to accept or practice.’ The crowd joined in the attack against Paul and Silas, and the magistrates ordered them to be stripped and beaten with rods.” Acts 16:19-222. Suffering does not cancel being spiritual “About midnightPaul and Silaswere praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.” Acts 16:253. Suffering can lead to ministry “The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. He then brought them out and asked, ‘Sirs, what must I do to be saved?’”

The Territory “Now those who were scattered because of the persecution that arose over Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia and Cyprus and Antioch, speaking the word to no one except Jews.” Acts 11:192. The Touch “Andthe hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number who believed turned to the Lord.” Acts3. The Testimony “The report of this came to the ears of the church in Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas to Antioch.” Acts 11:224. The Title “…and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they met with the church and taught a great many people. And in Antioch the disciples were first called Christians.” Acts 11:26
