The coming of the Holy Spirit and acts two is a passage that many people connect to. It is always good to remember the geographical implications of this passage with people coming from all over the Roman world, Jewish people who had been scattered across the lands. One of those places that I want to speak of in this moment is Sirene. Cyrene is a place in Africa that Simon was from the Simon, who carries Jesus Cross. It is also where someone named Lucius is from who is a profit and teacher from the George at Antioch. The church at Antioch was started with people from Cypress and Sirene going in and preaching to the gentiles. Maybe Lucius is the Luke that we know from George history from Antioch, and even though he is from Antioch, because he was one of the churches, profits and teachers. He is originally as he saysin acts chapter 13 from Sirene. Just a salt. Just a thought. Just a possibility. Maybe I’m wrong.
