Matty Blomfield is the co-founder of the fruit technology company, Hectre, which recently won the Hi-Tech Maori Company of the year and the Agritech company of the year at the 2026 NZ Hi-Tech Awards in Tamaki Makaurau last week. Hectre uses orchard management software, powered by artificial intelligence, to improve productivity and crop visibility across the horticulture sector.
