Logan and Hunter are back discussing Survivor: Winners at War, this week breaking down why it's tragic that we won't get to see any more Sandra on our screens, before jumping into the immediate schism between Michele and Wendell (that later gets fixed), Rob's Rashomon retelling of landing 3 fire tokens, the obvious vote outs from both Dakal and Yara and of course the challenge where Sele loses. This sets up what seems like an easy vote out of Wendell, before he turns the tides on Yul, by Nick and Michele scheming together to get out the last OG player.

Your favorite Slytherin and Gryffindor, Logan and Ali, are back discussing everything in the Wizarding World in pop culture post-Harry Potter movies. This includes our experiences at the Wizarding World theme parks in Hollywood and Orlando, the utter mess that is the Cursed Child, our extensive thoughts on the two Fantastic Beasts movies, what sort of new spin offs we’d like to see in the future, JK Rowlings incessant changing of the HP canon, and what our favorite foursome (Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Tom Felton, & Daniel Radcliffe) have been up to since the Deathly Hallows part 2 released.

We break down everything that happened last week with Rob trying to orchestrate the buddy system, which ultimately got him sent home, before jumping into all the wild Tony shenanigans of this weeks episode. Denise pulls an all time great move, but did she got too far playing both idols? Will Sandra be the first champion to quit the Edge of Extinction? Michenedell clearly have a rocky history, but will we learn more about their relationship before one of them votes the other out? Tune in this week to find out!

Logan and Hunter Bro are back on the mic discussing the latest episode of Winners at War, starting with the aftermath of the Ethan blindside, where Adam stands with his tribe, and if he's relegated himself to goat status because of his early fumble. We discuss both the politics of and the challenge they had to perform out on Edge of Extinction and how their game differs so dramatically from what a 'normal' Survivor game is. After a little tin-foil hat conspiracy talk regarding Sele's challenge win, things kick into high gear for Dakal, starting with Tyson immediately focusing on sending Nick home, but it ultimately backfires, was it worth it for Tony and Sarah, though? Tune in to find out!

Logan and Hunter are back to discuss all the latest shenanigans from the wildest season of Survivor yet, Winners at War! From Adam immediately sabotaging his entire game, to Sarah and Tony going undercover with Cops R Us, this episode had it all. Rob felt betrayed by Adam playing both sides, so he was left out of both alliances by the end, but how did he get put in that position? We break down the whole episode, why it was obvious which tribe was going to a vote, and who almost blew it for Dakal on the challenge, plus our MVPs of the week, this week on Rotten Coconut!

Logan and Ali are back for our penultimate episode of the Harry Potter binge, this week discussing Deathly Hallows part 1, and while it drags at times, this movie is 2.5 hours of setting up for the final battle between Harry Potter and Voldemort. We look back at the 12 year journey of the release of the HP movies, and compare the production to 'Boyhood' and Avengers, but there has really never been a blockbuster series as ambitious in its' scope as the HP franchise. We then dive into the narrative and discuss themes of choices, redemption, and morality as the trio branch off from their yearly Hogwarts excursion to attempt to destroy all the Horcrux's. A journey that separates them from the wizarding world for much of the plot, before being thrust back into the Malfoy's residence for an epic conclusion, and maybe the saddest death in the whole series. Harry and Co have to confront everything from their past before being able to move on to the final battle against Voldemort and all the corruption and hatred he represents in the wizarding world, but does David Yates stick the landing? Check out our final HP podcast next week which will include a chance to win the Blu Ray set!

Hunter-Bro and Logan are back discussing CBS's SURVIVOR! This week, we break down both the 2 hour premiere and the second episode including our thoughts on Rob masterfully working his way to the top of the power hierarchy, the complicated shifting alliances on Sele vs the clear cut alliances on Dakal, Sandra's unnecessary vendettas against Rob and Amber, Yul's brilliant gameplay despite not knowing anyone on the island, Natalie being cheaply targeted in the beginning, COPS R US ARE BACK, the 2 50-50 idols in play, Danni way overstepping her boundaries and getting herself voted out, and Ben fanboying over Boston Rob. This season is going to be one of the greatest ever so tune in to Rotten Coconut every week!

Ali and Logan and back discussing Harry Potter, this week we're covering chapter 6 of the story, the Half Blood Prince. This film is clearly an extended good bye to the friendship between Harry and Dumbledore, while also setting up the end game for the final battle between Voldermorts army and all that is good in the world. The theme of loss of innocence and not being able to trust anyone is present throughout this story as we explore Snapes journey from a outsiders perspective knowing his true intentions and the agreement he had with Dumbledore. We are also introduced to Dumbledore's old friend, Professor Slughorn, as his mind contains an important memory related to Tom Riddle's earliest sinister creation of the horcrux's. Join us as we explore the last 'regular' school year for our favorite trio before everything falls off the deep end into the final battles of Deathly Hallows.
