Importantly, Matt is also a Navy veteran, and we ask for his perspective on a highly unusual move by the Trump administration. According to The Washington Post, Sec. Pete Hegseth has invited approximately 800 military officials– including those stationed overseas– to an urgent meeting with no stated purpose. Pulling decision makers out of dangerous situations around the world could have disastrous consequences.
