Heidi Jurka joins us from the Blue Ridge Mountains and talks about her new book, The Making of a Psychic. She describes her childhood growing up in Hudson Valley NY, and the intuition that guided her to renowned physician, inventor and researcher Andrija Puharich, who recognized her as a "Space Kid" and employed her as his assistant. Heidi, who is featured in the upcoming documentary "Mind Travelers" about Puharich, discusses her work in his lab, the Mind Link project she was involved in, and the amazing story of psychic surgeon Pachita, whom Dr. Puharich studied in Mexico -- including a psychic surgery Heidi attended. Decades later Heidi learned the truth about the fire that burned in Dr. Puharich's lab and home, which she narrowly escaped.
