On this episode, I spoke to makeup and hair designer Heike Merker about her work on All Quiet on the Western Front.

Merker is a 2x Hollywood Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist Guild Award nominee for Crazy Rich Asians, where she is also a winner for Best Contemporary Hair Styling - Feature-Length Motion Picture for the project.

With All Quiet on the Western Front, Merker was a winner at the European Film Awards for European Makeup and Hair. Merker’s work has also been shortlisted at the Oscars and longlisted at the BAFTAs.
