Now as a hotel many visitors and staff claim the building is haunted. Architectural Digest names Bourbon Orleans as 3rd of the top 20 haunted hotels in America. On December 7th, 1946 the deadliest hotel fire in United States history broke out within the Winecoff Hotel in Atlanta, GA. The aftermath changed fire codes and laws regarding fire safety forever.
