Heirloom and Legacy

This episode features the "The Moyd Sisters" ( Marlene, Angeline, Olinda, and Anita) joining me for a discussion about the legacy of their amazing parents Olin and Marie Moyd. The sisters express their respect and love for their parents, who were socially and politically active, leaving a generational legacy of advocacy. The Moyds also extensively planned their end-of-life, including their services. The Moyd Sisters also expressed what they think their legacy will be and the heirlooms their parents left them.

They both discussed how they learned Reggie was related to them, their similarities in regard to civil rights advocacy, and what they did upon meeting for the first time since the revelation. They also revealed what legacy looks like and their hopes for the future. Finally, they both expressed their happiness about this truth that has come to light.
