At the time this program was on...we were in WW II and it was a popular show because it invited veterans and active soldiers to be guests on the show. Lindsay MacHarrie hosted/narrated the shows. Two back-to-back stories: "Friday the 13th" and "Wishing upon a Star" The dramatizations featured actors Verna Felton, Hanley Stafford (Baby Snook's Daddy), Gale Gordon (Principal on"Our Miss Brooks", Howard McNear and Barbara Jean Wong. Announcer Don Wilson introduces host for this Command Performance show broadcast by the AFRS 8/25/42. Guests include Betty Hutton, Dorothy Lamour, Reggie Gardner, Benny Goodman and Orch, Mean Widdle Kid (See photo)... guests have been requested by troops overseas during WW II...Everything was volunteered to support morale of our troops.
