The Kingdom characteristics that jesus presented-He lived and taught without change his entire life hee on earth. John 1:9-14 Today, Satan uses his 2 best tools-doubt & fear. His goal: bring confusion and frustration and at best change truth to a lie. Truth to know: Whoever controls the conversation, controls the issue The body o Christ - the church - lost the conversation when we allowed sin to become a political issue and not a sin issue. Everyone's opinion is correct for them, there is no real truth, no moral standard, truth is how "you" feel about an issue. There is no heaven or hell. There are many different beliefs and gods. Or ther are "many" ways to God and many different heavens. The charge: Christianity is "exclusive" and not "inclusive, therefore not everyone is welcomed. Truths to know: 1. In life choices are inevitable 2. A single decision/choice will transform your lif 3. One choice will supplant another 4. Destroys the concept of living a dual life-traveling 2 paths/choices at the same time 5. 2 roads present a choice that is intentional 6. Divisions are created by choices, not the issues 7. Death assures that choices made may become final

  • His Kingdom Surely Comes
What is good to do in YHWH's sight? 1Chronicles 19–20 looks forward to the hearing of God's Word, publicly read, in the holy assembly on the coming Lord's Day. In these twenty-seven verses of Holy Scripture, the Holy Spirit teaches us that it is good in YHWH's sight to establish and complete the kingdom of Christ. The devotional examines 1 Chronicles 19 and 20 to illustrate how God's providence advances the kingdom of Jesus Christ even amidst human betrayal, sin, and overwhelming odds. It highlights Joab's strategic reliance on divine will rather than military strength, showing that Yahweh does what is good in His sight by subduing enemies for His anointed King. The text contrasts David's historical failures with the ultimate fulfillment of God's promise in Christ, encouraging believers to remain faithful despite mischaracterization and internal church strife. Listeners are urged to serve with wisdom, diligence, and courage, trusting that God is building His church against the gates of hell. The message concludes with a call to reject discouragement and rest in the certainty of Christ's eternal reign.

  • The Corruption of Scripture
The sermon warns against the corruption of Scripture by modern Bible translations, arguing that they have diluted essential doctrines such as the existence of hell and the immortality of the soul. Using historical examples like King Jehoiakim and textual critics Westcott and Hort, the speaker illustrates how doubt and dishonesty have led to the alteration of God's pure Word over centuries. Through a demonstration involving cups of water, the preacher emphasizes that even small changes compromise the integrity of the text, urging believers to reject these corrupted versions. The message concludes by affirming the King James Bible as the preserved, unadulterated Word of God and calls listeners to trust in Christ for salvation through this pure truth.

  • HELL DIDN’T DISAPPEAR BECAUSE WE QUIT PREACHING IT
HELL DIDN'T DISAPPEAR BECAUSE WE QUIT PREACHING IT. [THE ETERNITY NOBODY WANTS TO TALK ABOUT] Luke 16:19–31; Revelation 20:15KJV Jesus Christ spoke plainly about eternal judgment because souls matter. Luke chapter 16 records the rich man and Lazarus. Both men died, but death did not end their existence. The rich man became consciously aware of judgment, remembered his earthly life, and discovered a great gulf that could not be crossed. Revelation chapter 20 describes the final judgment before the great white throne and warns that those whose names are not found in the book of life are cast into the lake of fire. Hell reveals the seriousness of sin and the holiness and justice of God. But judgment is not the end of the Gospel message. God loved the world and gave His only begotten Son so that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus Christ bore our sins at Calvary, shed His blood, died, and rose again. Therefore, no sinner has to face eternal judgment without hope. Salvation is available through Jesus Christ. The rich man became concerned about his five brothers only after it was too late for him to warn them personally. His concern reminds Christians to pray for and witness to the lost while there is still time.

  • Life After Death
This sermon examines Genesis 25 to establish a plain reading of scripture that clarifies the biblical view of death and the afterlife. The preacher argues that Abraham's gathering to his people signifies a conscious intermediate state rather than mere burial, distinguishing between the body returning to dust and the spirit departing. By tracing this theme through Luke 16, the text explains that Old Testament believers awaited redemption in Abraham's bosom until Christ's resurrection opened heaven. The message emphasizes that Jesus' substitutionary death provides assurance of eternal life for those who believe, transforming death from a threat into a gateway to God's presence. Ultimately, the sermon calls listeners to find confidence in their salvation and look forward to the final restoration of all things.
