“Being the one calling time of death on a relationship is hard. People don’t understand it’s hardest for that person because they are the ones who are having the make the decision no one wants to make.” - Leisse Wilcox. 

People think the people who are wanting a divorce are the ones who have the upper hand in all of it, but I don’t think that’s true at least it wasn’t for me. I consciously knew that by divorcing my husband of 12 years I would be destroying the dreams I had for myself, his dreams and vision of family, the model relationship/marriage that my daughters had, and the security we all felt in being a family of four.

This is a solo recording with Jo and a sweet final farewell for now...

WTF moments and messy conversations are a part of relationships, they are inevitable especially when you’ve been in a relationship with someone for a long period of time.

Today, we’re sharing the start of another set of messy conversations and the incredibly difficult decision to transition our relationship from being partners in marriage to focusing on being partners in co-parenting.
