The bones of the past versions of ourselves are the foundation that's laid for who we will become.

Each part is beautiful. Each version necessary, or part of our story. Each moment building to this one.

We do not need to delete, cancel, or try to forget old versions of us, but we can choose to no longer let them run the show. We can show them love, compassion, and grace. We can find ways to offer forgiveness to all those versions, for her experiences and herself.

This January, through the Sisterhood Dinner Series, Laura Sinclair and I will be discussing forgiveness. We will work to honour past parts, to extract the wisdom from our experiences, and let go of the things that are weighing us down.
