Our bodies speak to us through emotion, sensation, & pain.

Our being consists of many bodies: The physical body, Mental body, Emotional body, Spiritual body, everything is interconnected. Our physical experience is not just comprised of that which we can perceive, but all of our environments combined. 

When the body speaks to us it’s not always clear, we may not understand what is being asked but we are being put on notice.

Sometimes your physical experience is a wake up call, an invitation to look at that which has been ignored. 

In this episode Laura and I talk about our experiences leading up to and being diagnosed with Hashimoto's. We explore what we discovered, and what we wish we had of known at the beginning of our journey to healing this hypothyroid condition. 

There is so much I would want to share, but more than the words, I would want to impart the feeling, the knowing, the deeper levels of wisdom that I hold in my body because of my experiences. Those things are the things that help keep me grounded in my truth & anchored in an unwavering belief about myself. 

What if you were always a masterpiece AND a work in progress? 

As we evolve and grow we can find it hard to shift the things in our lives that no longer feel in resonance, but it's that very space that allows the new versions of ourselves to come in. Can you allow yourself to be a blank canvas, painted again & again...

I believe that our sacred yes' and no's lead us to the most magical places, even when, especially when, they "make no sense". 

My healing journey has little rhyme or reason it, it was not orchestrated from my mind with any linear thought or plan but rather a magical unfolding of choices led by my gut. And oh what a ride it has been. 

Saying "No" is hard. It can come with a flood of shame, guilt, or worrying what the other will think. 

But what if "No" actually made your relationship better?!? Would you use it more often?? 

These are the realizations from the present moment. This episode was originally recorded at the end of last year. Like, everything, there is growth and evolution of each one of these ideas. As I re-listen to these words there are things I would share differently & new perspectives gained. 

However, I trust that everything shared is still in service. Perhaps it's a jumping off point to your own self-discovery and sparks a deeper contemplation of what's currently true for you.

When we claim our part in things, when we recognize that we co-create our reality, we open up a gateway to change the things in our lives that aren't working & heal parts of us that have been begging for attention far too long. Owning our stuff, giving ourselves permission to grieve, feel, process, and acknowledge what is opens up the possibility to create something new from the ashes.
