Summer is a great time to enjoy the Land of 10,000 Lakes. But for adults who didn’t learn to swim during childhood, developing water skills can be daunting. According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 40 million adults in the U.S. do not know how to swim.

Minnesota Now producer Ellie Roth asked an expert about learning to swim as an adult.
