WNRS is a card game designed to create meaningful connections and inspire genuine connections. Honestly, it was the perfect way to explore who Brittany really is.

We talk about how ShopLatinx was started and what kept Brittany from giving up on it all. Often times we only see the fruits of success. We never see all the everything that happens behind making something beautiful. This conversation really encapsulates the beauty in the struggle.

As the daughter of Speech—Hip Hop Legend, producer, and founder of ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT— she spent much of her childhood growing up on the road, touring with her family. Moving from place to place so frequently made it hard to develop lasting relationships outside of her nucleus (family). Which may be the reason she places such an emphasis on strong friendships and building community.
