Keep The Kids Fed
Well its rare but I have reversed my position on providing school breakfast to underprivileged children. During my time as Principal for a Day at Madison East High School, I learned that there are kids who are homeless, kids with zero parental supervision, and some students that may only show up for a few days and then disappear. Washington, DC has even come up with an early dinner program to encourage kids to be involved with after school programs that help them academically. It isn't the school's job to feed our children but that doesn't mean it isn't a smart investment and the ethically thing to do.

My Day As Principal Of Madison East High
I recap my visit to Madison East High where I participated in the Foundation for Madison's Public Schools' Principal for a Day Program. It was a great experience and I was very impressed with what I saw.
