Two lawmakers, including Rep. Rob Wittman (R-VA-01) sent a letter to the Food and Drug Administration Wednesday, urging the agency to crack down on illegal vaping products from China. Former Hungary Creek Middle School teacher Megan Jordan will face up to 50 years in prison after she pleaded guilty to sex crimes against one of her middle school students. The House of Delegates approved a measure Tuesday that mandates school divisions update emergency plans to include students with mobility impairments.  Del. Laura Jane Cohen, D-Fairfax, a former educator, introduced House Bill 501. At a 4 p.m. work session on Feb. 8, the Henrico School Board will review an update about how the division will implement the Virginia Literacy Act beginning in the 2024-2025 school year. Henrico Police officials are seeking the public's help in locating a missing 64-year-old Henrico man who suffers from dementia. Lawrence Scott Christian was last seen Monday, Feb. 5 at about 7:48 p.m. leaving a senior living facility in the 12400 block of Gayton Road.
