Henrico Police officials are seeking a missing endangered adult. Richard Scott McConnell, 56, of Henrico, was last heard from in June 2023. His family has concerns for his well-being and has repeatedly visited properties tied to McConnell with no success in finding him. McConnell is described as a white male with brown hair and hazel eyes, 5 foot 11 and approximately 170 pounds. In the past, he has lived off Holly Hill Road in Henrico's Tuckahoe District. Virginia State Parks officials are currently accepting applications for the 2024 Youth Conservation Corps, a two-week summer program through which students will live and work in one of 42 Virginia State Parks. The program is open to applicants who are 14-17 years old and entering their first year of high school.
